Piston Rod Seal 

Piston rod seals and buffer seals are designed to seal the sliding motion between the hydraulic cylinder and the piston rod. Depending on the application, the sealing system may consist of both a piston rod seal and a buffer seal (commonly used in heavy-duty equipment) or only a piston rod seal.In addition to their sealing function, these components provide a thin lubricating film on the piston rod, which lubricates the rod itself and the wiper seal.
