SEAL RING
NBR sealing ring with square or rectangular cross section. Its design is completely equivalent to the O-ring and can be used in most static applications. Compared with the O-ring, the rectangular ring has a face contact seal (larger contact area), stronger anti-extrusion ability (especially with rib design), large friction resistance, and needs to strictly match the groove cross-sectional size. If a rectangular ring is needed to replace the O-ring, it is necessary to verify whether the dynamic friction coefficient is allowed, and it may be necessary to use a low-friction material (such as PTFE coated rectangular ring).
