In some cases, conventional U-Cups are prone to leakage at low pressures or low temperatures due to the lack of loading on the sealing lip.

This Loaded U-Cup is a strong choice for these situations because it can be retrofitted into the most common U-Cup grooves. An integrated O-ring improves performance in low pressure and low temperature applications. Polyurethane is a proven U-Cup material because of its good mechanical properties. The Loaded U-Cup is a symmetrical seal that can be used as a rod seal or piston seal.
